Pray for the Church

Hey Folks,

It seems that many in our congregation are facing a lot of spiritual warfare. As ominous as it seems, this is a good sign. We are encroaching on territory previously occupied by darkness. When you press on satan's kingdom, he will fight back. We must be vigilant in our prayers for our leaders in the church, and the church body. Pray for our church leaders to be strengthened, for the body to be equipped, for our ministerial staff... not just in our church building, but all of the church body across Monett. As we have heard, there is but one church. We must be united, and pray for each other! Do not become discouraged when you face oppression, but find freedom and peace/rest in Christ. Remember that He is our strength, and let him fight the battles for you. Remember John 15:5

I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.

Remain in Christ!

Jesus said, "Woe to you when all men speak well of you." Luke 6:26.
